Ask for more pictures dude. I have a 182 in this colour and when I take pictures of it in certain sunlight angles it looks like the wings are a slightly different shade but really they are not. When you look at it up close its exactly the same. If its the same when you look close at it then...
If you have a lot of money to blow then go for it! you are going to be stung on any insurance for being young and wanting One of these if you want the policy in your name. if you are on a budget then have a good think because insurance is only one part of owning a fast car, every other aspect of...
Good point! I did some research before buying a clio and I couldn't believe how cheap parts are for the Clio in comparison to jap!
For a 2.0 5 speed car, I find them really good on petrol! But I guess that depends on what you're comparing it to lol!
Have any of the people that are putting you off actually owned a Clio ?
ive owned many jap cars and never thought I'd buy a French car, after seeing two mates own 182's and have absolutely no problems with them I got one too and personally i cant fault it! My mate Andrew's 182 is on 120k and has...
Thanks Kyle! That's what I needed to hear, there's loads of talk about the topic but little on I people's experience on the transformation of the car after the work has been done. I'm happy spending £1500 if It makes a noticeable difference compared to standard but I wasn't sure how much...
I've been thinking of saving a bit of money and going down to ktec for the cam package that they offer along with a panel filter and matched inlets.
im aware of the gains in BHP but I was wondering if anyone has had this done and would you say it was worth it in terms of actual noticeable...
I wouldn't pay more than 3k and if I did i'd want a recent cam belt change by someone who knows what their doing and a long service history. If you don't mind buying privately and being cheeky you'll be surprised how much money some people will knock off their asking price. For example I managed...
I'd be happy with those figures to be honest dude, I mapped a Fabia from 130-170 and the clutch started slipping slightly to spite the fact that I was told by the mapper the gain was with in the safe lines for the cars standard setup.
I guy I know used to have one and I don't think the accord front seats fold. If you can find them take a look at the integra dc2 / civic ek9 seats as they do fold down, not sure about the subframes though dude
If you plan on keeping it a few years whilst you wait for an insurance quote thats decent then go for it dude! The only time you could regret spending some money on it would be if you were in two minds of sellin it.... Or if you wrote it off lol! It's always good to see people spending a bit of...
Sounds like a plan! The beauty with turbos is that you can get nice little gains with the exhaust and filter alone, with a map too it should keep you happy!
You can usually expect to pay Upto about £300 for a map, £300 should get you a nice cat back and about 180 for a good induction kit...
Remap is usually the best option to get a good noticeable gain, obviously you wouldn't want to push it too far running standard equipment.
Personally I would get an updated panel filter or induction kit (which ever you prefere), update the exhaust system front to back and get it breathing...
I deliberately look for places like you have parked there lol I never park across 2 spaces though! Seen a guy once with an Elise parked on a cross section of 4 spaces in tesco! Seen a few people leaving him friendly notes under his windscreen wipers lol!
Im 25 but There's a chap in his 50's near me that owns a 182 with a yozza system. Funny enough it was my mates old car that he bought from a garage. Never seen him boot it though lol always driving very carefully :p
Coming from a jap car background I never thought I'd be as impressed with my 182 as I am! Total newbie to the clios but there's something about being in it/ driving it that's totally addicting lol! Mine is completely standard and I can't wait to get some money together and splash out on it!
Glad your ok mate, hopefully Some CCTV has caught the guy! Be great to catch the mother F. It'd surprising how little the police get involved in such serious incidents.
When I was in my mates car we got hit, the other car loosened a lamppost and there was glass over the road, we told them and...
