just had to swap the coil pack on my new trophy after a blinking engine management light. this happens to a lot of 182's from what i have read

Future classic. Buy an good one now if you have the money sat in the bank. Will make more over the next 10 years than you will get back on your savings that's for sure. Plus you will have more fun :drunk:

Well 10 years after I purchased my first clio 182 I am back. Picked up Trophy 263 in great nick for a bargain Price :rasp: Running as a second car only for the summer months and will be keeping this future classic in tip top condition. Looking forward to getting it on the track in the summer ;)

thanks guys so im not alone then :-( anybody actualy found out what it is yet? not good is it? they tightened all the bolts of steering/suspension etc. but not fixed it going to have to video it and take it down to show them

i had a yellow HGT before the clio 182 the wife has it now still a very good car lots of toys and a nice interior for your cash. never had any problems with ours, not in the same league as a 182 but you will struggle to find a car for that sort of money that is better.

got a non cup 182 happy with the handling on it,also prefer the silver colour of the wheels the others just look dirty IMHO

black rubber silver would be cool though:cool:

only been avaiable for the last couple of months. you will get a much better deal on a 182 with both cup packs for a much better price. try ebay there are a couple on there. the spec on a standard 182 is much better than a cup. no difference in performance and less luxuries on the cup...

the mark 1 finished in 2001. but for that money you can get a mark 2 172 or 172 cup. much more up to date than the dated(imho) mark 1 there are a couple on autotrader just over 7k and a high milage 52 plate cup for £6,900. also try ebay always good for a bargain. good luck with the...

how much you got to spend ? not much difference it the prices of 172 and 172 cup anyway. the 172 will be better for every day use more toys to play with:D unless you buy the mark 1- 172

hey guy any of you have a clicking noise coming from the wiper relay when your wipers stop and start. mine never used to do it now it has started. delear says it is just the relay starting and stopping but surely it shouldnt make this anoying noise?

had the abs unit changed on mine used to get the stop service and abs lights after driving for 5 mins. works fine now

they make a good place to earth a sub without drilling. just slid my earth lead under neath for a tight fit
