i have a ff 200 with the cup chassis which is standard apart from ferodo ds2500 front pads which I fitted this year as I planned on tracking it and 4 track days later ive got the bug, now I have no intention of trying to gain more power from it as from what ive seen this year on the trackdays I...
I bought ds2500 pads for my 200 last year and did four track days using them and found them to be great never faded even when out for 40mins not tried any of the really high end pads tho so can't comment only downside is an occasional squeak which you don't notice while driving.
Harsh but fair I think but they have only made one dog as opposed to a whole decade of them, if renault get there fingers out with a with a revised version of the mk4 all will be forgotten and the clio will be back on top, fingers crossed....
one of these could be a tempting option in 18 months time if all the negative press has a knock on effect on prices, could even be a cheaper option than an st of comparable age which would would defo even things up between the two of them, nice car fella, enjoy.
good driving mate, watched all the vids and compared them to mine and cant believe how well them Michelin slicks hold there line I had loads of fun but it was a constant battle to keep it on the track and I was still lapping 5 seconds a lap slower. must get new tyres...... hope to see you at...
totally agree the sales figures were poor I just think its a bit harsh making everyone suffer 5dr and auto box, they could have catered for everyone with a 3dr manual version, I really wanted the mk4 rs to be the top dog amongst the hot hatches and just cant get my head around it being battered...
anyone know where you can get them rs wheel centres from? ive lost one of my anthracite ones of the cup wheels and got quoted £20 for one off Renault :headno:
im sure this has been covered elsewhere but ive been looking for a while and got find the info im after so if someone could help id be v grateful. ive had my 2oo for 6 months and ive always wanted to tidy the boot up a bit by removing the clio badge, is this a pretty straightforward job?
excuse me being totally lacking in knowledge about this debadging lark but having seen a couple that were debadged at anglesey on mon its something I really fancy doing and from what you said there it just a matter of dental floss and warm water, this correct?
spot on mate and I bet the colour defo looks better in the flesh, think you made the right choice in getting the st over the 200t its just seems like a better car for a lot less money. enjoy bud.
if your not bothered about below average mpg (i average 29) then defo buy one, i had never done a track day until i bought mine and now im hooked, and i can honestley say after owning mine for 6 months its the best car ive ever owned and that includes cars that i paid double what the clio cost...
