Before I start and someone says something, I know the 1*2's have a hot and cold map. I never go over 4k until the engine is warm. Never the less, once it is upto temp it will not go over 6500rpm, it used to easily hit the 7200 it is supposed to go to. Any ideas of what it could be? Cheers

As title says, but my timing belt kit and aux kit is going to be used from my old engine as it has only done around 600 miles. what tools shall i make sure this garage has to perform my engine swap and change the cam & aux belt kit over from my last engine? any help would be much appreciated. ​

My 182 needs a new engine, im lead to believe that 182's have a higher rev limit than 172's? If a 172 engine block is put into my car would it still be able to reach the higher rev limits that a 182 have? Also I had noticed 182 engine codes are F4R 738 and a 172 is F4R 736, why is this and...

As title says, Valve seat dropped in the head, due to overheating (apparently) and blowing my engine to bits :(. I'm from Yorkshire and wondering what is the best route to take for this? i would probably source the engine myself, would just need a half decent garage to check the new engine over...

Had timing adjusted over at Jamsport after a poor belt change at another garage.. had it on the rolling road after and it made 175bhp standard. does this sound about right? (48000 on the clock)
