Id probably take £1850. Its got plenty of tax, loads of receipts and the wheels are nearly new very tidy under the bonnet. Bit of arch bubbling but it is still solid. No play in steering or anything.
Ive tried wacking a load of silcone around the base of the ariel and after the rain last night it seemed dry it must be coming from further back. I.E the sunroof.

Right, it was a cam belt idler, like I thought. New belt and one of those+labour= I hope its less than £200!!
