A while back (couple of years ago) I saw a pack advertised discounted with all the parts in to renew the ignition/spark side of things on a mk1 Williams(rotor arm,cap,leads plugs and timing sensor I think).Anyone know of anything similar around now?

Ive had a problem with my Williams for around 6months now.Its fine under normal driving conditions,but if you are to turn left hard whilst on the move and have much power going down through the wheels(probably around half throttle upwards) the car feels like it loses drive and makes a banging...

Im want to put a standard system(inc Cat) back on my Williams.Im being told by my local Tyre/Exhaust Centre that no one makes a Centre section for the Williams apart from Renault(ie no cheap version) Is this correct? Whats different on the 1.8 16v system to stop me fitting that?

The gearbox mount has sheared rite off on the Williams.Only done about 10k! Not driven it more than 12ft since,cuz it started to crunch as soon as it dropped. I can probably change the mount myself,but is it possible this has damaged more(Driveshaft or Drive from Gearbox?) and Im guessing just...

Do they Make any difference or not worth the bother? Simple to fit?

Is there some sort of additive you can add to oil which you would use to help bed in a new set of cams or to quieten down noisey tappets? I think ive heard it mentioned before. If so where do I get it from?

How long to you have to leave the battery dissconected for the ECU to do the reset trick? Or is it just a case of whipping it off and then putting it rite back on again?

Just started the Williams up for the first time this morning after having the top end done following the cambelt failure. Had 16 new valves and new cams put in. One of the tappets is now noisey-why is this? Will running it for a while cure it or cause a problem? Any ideas on how to cure this?
