It seems a pity that it should happen to a car as idolised as the Willy, but thats just the (un)luck of the draw I guess. I can see why a few ppl got upset over it on this forum.
lol you know what, I thought it was just me but clearly not. I get rid of webs on both sides every couple of days. Something about spiders and Clios i guess...
Mines happier with a full tank. I cant really quantify happy with anything technically meaningful, but it feels more willing...
Prolly just psychological.
hah! I remember you had a pretty unique steering wheel as well? Anyway lets not start the willy zorst debate again, think it lasted more than 10 pages last time!
Its your car mate, you do what you want to it, im just expressing my opinion. :)
This reminds me of that willy which had something similar and was posted on here a while ago.
Really bloody awful, and what a c**k if he blanks a 172 at the lights. If theres 1 thing about RS ownership, Ive found theres an instinctive bond between the drivers- kindof a mutual respect of each...
Just wanna add my awesome to the list above :D
Something to look forward to when im 60 and can afford the insurance. Btw, if its not a secret, how much you gonna be shelling per year for that beast?
Cheers.
Willy wheels are awesome, but dont go for black. And if you do, dont make it shiny like that. Go matte black / anthracite.
Or you can stay safe and go silver - timeless class and goes well with everything.
Personally Id go silver.
Cover it in super glue and drive through Halfords.
But seriously, why would you want to mod an already outstanding car? I recommend you save your cash for sticky tape to fix all the rattles that come with it...
I know exactly what you mean mate. I had a long thread about this a few days ago. Its driving me nuts as well. Its really loud and sounds like its coming from somewhere at the top of the windscreen.
No idea what it is, but gonna see what Renault think of it.

Ok so apart from your dvd headunit, colour coded door handles etc, and footwell neons... What others mods could make a car interior unique?
Im trying to find some inspiration. I was thinking maybe a UV light?
Stick your ideas down here!
You know, ive been thinking bout doing all of this...but then I thought: Why not just put your laptop into the car?
It does all the same things, it comes fully assembled, and all you need is a 12v converter and plug it into the fag lighter - so simple!
Admittedly a touch screen and having a...
@ trevq: mate, how you gonna wire your neons up? I have two 10" strips from my old Clio but I dont want to have the thing sticking out of my fag lighter if possible...
Cheers.

Im quite flattered really that I stirred up all this fuss.
Anyway, thanks a lot to everyone for all the advice - especially Final_Maxim who seemed to show a lot of restraint in not getting caught up in the whole thorny topic of speeding! hehehe :)
I think its time to have another look under...
No way in hell! I love the 182 for what it is - a sizzling hot hatch. But if youve got a proper roadster then stick to it! I cant see the clio being more of a laugh to drive, and it definitely wont attract as many looks - which may or may not be important to you.

Dude, weve heard the dont speed doctrine enough times. If it makes you happier, i get this howl even at 70 on a windy day. And theres nothing more annoying than that coz it really is a proper howl.
Omar said: illegal motorway speeds, which doesnt mean he was doing them on the motorway. In...
*giggle* This is exactly why I put the disclaimer in, so people wouldnt start going on and on about the dangers of speeding.
@ 182blue: Its hard to pinpoint exactly where its coming from, but thats an interesting thought. It sounds like its either the top of the dash or like i said in the...
Just want to reiterate, this isnt just some kind of wind noise, and its not me being picky here. Anybody in the world who hears this would agree that its definitely not normal.
I mean it drowns out the music with the volume set to 12!
mate, im looking for a solution to the problem here. If i could ignore it, believe me i would.
And i think its kind of up to me how fast i drive on a track or on the autobahn.
Thanks for you comment.
