Spotted a blue 172 or 182 with a black (or carbon) bonnet on the back of a flatbed/trailer yesterday heading north on the M90 between Dundee and Forfar around 5:10pm. Possibly heading home from Knockhill

We have put a 172 engine on an engine stand for a project we are doing at work, there is something in the side of the engine with a knurled end, can't seem to remove it, it has threads on it but won't screw in. Any ideas what it is: MC

Hi just been having a search about on here as I have a speedo issue. I'm thinking its the speed sensor in the box. It works fine when cold. On longer journeys it intermittently stops working. Anyone had this before? Thanks

Anyone done it? Preferred it? I know the 172s were notorious for not actually making that on rollers, so are 182s in a similar boat? I can't find a nice clean 172 Monaco since mine was W/O, so am being forced really to look at 182s. Not as much as a fan looks wise (172s go under the radar a...
