Hi guys new bought a clio yesterday and the oil cooler has been bypassed.. The pipes keep cutting because of the angles on the cooler.. The 2 oil cooler feeds are connected and the 2 feeds off the black plastic are also connected together. Any advice as to how to fix this will be appreciated as...
Hey,
My mk2 phase 1 currently doesn't have the oil level checker (the one that says oil ok on your dash) but I'd like to have it enabled. There's 2 wires for the oil level in my clocks connector, but I don't know where I must put the sensor itself. It's a 1.2 8v. A clear description where it is...
im havin issues with my gripper it's a bit noisy well it's cluncking at low speeds whilst turning the wheel left or right. Before spending a lot of money getting the box out and getting the gripper serviced I've been advised to swap the oil, so I've bought some Castrol B373 also would it be...
Im looking at refreshing my current suspension setup as the car feels downright dangerous to drive tbh. Skippy. Edgy. Not inspiring confidence etc.
Its my daily. Im looking at doing a euro road trip later this year in it. It will probably never see a track in my ownership. Maybe santa pod RWYB...
I know there is threads on this problem, however I just wanted to double check that it's not the HG. Am I correct in believing this is condensation build up? The car is run twice a day for a 10 mile run, mainly on A roads, you would think that would be long enough for it to warm up. I can't say...
Is anyone using these? I've currently got Bilstein B14s and I now agree that they're too soft for pure track use.
Budget is about £1k max and for that money the AVO seem like the best option. If anyone has any reviews or other suggestions please let me know!
Cheers
Hi all, on Monday my oil light and service light came on the dash so I pulled over and left the car then checked the oil, and it was low, at the bottom in fact so, I've been and bought some oil and I've filled with 1 litre then checked and wasn't showing so put another 0.5 in and then checked...
Hi all, I purchased ktecs oil feed kit in which the adapter to go into the turbo doesn't fit - they told me the feed kit fits all garretts well obviously not the case -
I have a gt2560r so does anyone know what size or type of adapter I need etc or .... what they have done

Hi my clio 172 ph1 is very high at rear wheels
it got kw v2 coilovers on the back is adjusted totally down
But it needs to get 30-50 mm lower
the rear of rhe car i stript out
is there any shorter coilover spring i can use?
I'm after a new coilpack and i've seen that ECP and GSF both do a "standard" coilpack and a Bremi branded one.
Does anyone know the difference? Is is worth the extra(50% more) for the Bremi one?
Because I'm on the Isle of Man, KTEC want me to pay a whopping £22 post for their cleaning kit even though you can send it in a jiffy bag for £5.
I have loads of K&N filter cleaner and oil from a previous K&N filter, would it work on the KTEC foam?
Thanks
Would anyone happen to know off the top of their head what size the stainless screws are which hold the 'faux carbon' end caps on to the Cup spoilers for the Mk3?
Random but you never know!
Hi, I installed some Bilstein Coilovers today and the install went fine. However I discovered my car was running V-maxx Coilovers already and it would appear the top suspension bolt has a cam on it which I guess is a basic camber adjustment. The bilsteins just use a regular bolt.
The bilsteins...
Morning CS,
Since I bought my Clio back in November it had a slight misfire - nothing massive and being that it's getting on a bit I just put it down to age (partially) and left it at that.
It has since gotten progressively worse, so I had it put on a fault code reader and it came back as a...
Hi all,
Finally got round to getting some coilovers and was looking at getting them fitted at a garage but fancied getting to grips and learning how to do them myself. However, I'm a complete spaz with cars so really need someone to give me a hand (Read: Do them for me while I watch/make...
a 2010 Volvo C30. He recently purchased a new radiator and as he was driving down the hwy his car began to overheat. He immediately pulled over and shut the engine off. After it cooled he tried to drive it home and it began overheating again, this time the oil pressure light came on. Knowing how...

Hi
Just fitted new ktec coilovers on my 182 FF but there isn't much thread, well bearly any for the nut to sit on on the top mount. The thread and nut are basically flush with eachother and the top mount spins slightly when you put a lot of pressure on it. Is this normal...if not, how do I fix...
Hi Guys, got the 3rd gear crunch on the 197. It's not too bad though. I can avoid it if I carefully select the gear or change at low revs. Do I need a new box? I've been offered a brand new box £650 inc fitting. Any advice on whether to get it done or should I try other things first like...
Looking for a set of coilovers for my mk2 1.2, but the cheapest set I can find on eBay are £245, which is pretty pricey considering the car etc. However I'm not sure if I'm just looking in the wrong places? Has anyone recently purchased, or know of anywhere selling the cheap rokkor/raceland type...
Main leak is suspected to be the rear main oil seal.
They also said there was a very slight leak from the camshaft and they think the gearbox input shaft.
They suggested trying a sealant to rejuvenate any leaking seals in the short term but I personally I would like to get them fixed.
I...
I've got a clio 182 and wanted to put it on coil overs for the slightly better handling and the ride height option, lowering 20mm to reduce arch gap
Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the ktec own coil overs, they're around, £300-£400 but are they decent enough?
Any help...
