I'll be getting a set of R888's for use on track when it's dry/damp but i am looking to get a a set of tyres specifically for the wet (and to do long journeys on when i travel down to england for track days to save wear on the R888's as it will be about an 800 mile round trip).

Had a problem with my car after starting up this evening for the second time this year, both been when it has been pissing down with rain all day.
Basically I start the car up fine, and the revs start shooting up and down. The dash light below the petrol light comes on (zigzag in a box and...
I've got a trackday coming up on Saturday and the weather forecast looks crap.
I bought myself a brand new set of Toyo R888's but now wondering whether my road tyres (Continental with 75% tread) would be better.
Opinions/advice appreciated........
My 172 cup is useless in the wet its got no traction in 1st 2nd and 3rd. A mate at works got a 170bhp golf diesel, and i just could not get the power down and and now he thinks he's the man:mad:. Iv got continentals all round that seem brill in the dry, but in the wet a 1.2 corsa would do me...
A friend of mine is soon leaving for distant shores and decided he fancied a final drive out in his DC5 before he goes and the car is sold. Hence, Evandim (Black Civic Type-R), myself (Trophy), Moggsy (DC5 owner) and a few other friends all decided to brave the weather and head out for a drive...

Can anyone recommend me some? I love my R888's for the dry but what can I get for the wet? These wet tyre's will be used for on the road too but not to worried about wear.
Is this stuff any good ? Been recommened to use it as the car seems to of lost its shine and he said this stuff will work a treat to freshen it back up again ?
I washed, waxed etc the usual crap.
But i SRP'd then waxed over, which looks so much better and feels great.
Now here are the pics from the following day.
Last pic looked great on the phone when taking it, shame about it. But anyway. Just thought i would post them.
More fiesta...
Any body used it? If so any different to EGP?
Just ordered some along with some Bilberry Wheel Cleaner and Chemical Guys Fabric Clean.
Got to love Clean Your Car Web Site, Made £1.47 in points to.
had a "play" with a boxster on my way home and after overtaking it and slowing down to a roundabout the car was fine, selected 3rd then as i released the clutch the back end went, managed to avoid heading towards a bush after shatting myself then when i parked up at home i noticed the drivers...
Spotted on Saturday about 5ish in the afternoon, heading towards York
No idea who it was, but pretty sure it had a Clio Sport sticker in the window, and a kid in the back, fast asleep haha.
Also had a private plate!
Downloaded this from PSN the other day, but only got round to playing it tonight. Bit of a jazzed up desperados thing, with swords, guns and fancy moves and slow mo bits. Seems interesting, looks quite well done (bit like Kane & Lynch). It's quite difficult to really get your head around...
Not had my 182 long but I've noticed a wet patch under the car, it doesn't smell and isn't oil. I don't use the air con so not that. Seems like water. Any1 had this before?
Cheers kev.
On the Diamond spraying guide it states:
He doesn't mention wet flatting down his primer which, if chipped or even if it doesn't chip sometimes, will make the paint flake off as it has nothing to key to.
Could someone give me a little more info into what 'wet flatting' is? cheers
I remember seeing the designs for this a couple of years back when Vivendi were publishing it. Nicely presented design docs, but not sure about the game.
Anyway, this is without a shadow of doubt one of the strangest trailers I've ever seen for any game...
