Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish... is it worth getting if i already have Poorboys Black Hole even tho WMF is a Sealent ad BH is a Glaze?

Muchos Gras....

JD Text back you woman

Pete's 53 Paste Wax, ya see another thing is im waiting for a lesson on polishing my car with a DA from JD aswell so is it worth buying with that in mind

Well, Pete's 53 isn't massively durable on its own, so a good solid base like CG Blitz is a good move at this time of year, or switch the Pete's for something more durable like one of the Collinite's, or Megs #16.

As you will discover, 90% of the 'looks' will come from polishing process - the wax/sealant will only add a touch of character to the overall appearance.

The aim at this time of year, should be durability. Go for bling in Spring :)

I'm sure JD can advise you though. Plus he's a Blitz fanboy, so he'll probably agree ;)

People say the Blitz is good, although ive not used it. I have WMF on my clio at the moment, and im not impressed with it, probably the worst sealant ive used in a long time.

I quite like wet mirror finish.

Used it on the motor a few times :)

Now using poorboys ex-p sealent

Used EX-P on the gf's china blue 206 and it stayed clean for ages (and this is a car that normally gets dirty by itself within a couple of hours)- good stuff I reckon.

hmmmm sounds daft but is there much point in using both a glaze and a sealent or is it a case of one or the other?

richy nice one

you can use both. But glazes can be quite oily, so the sealant may have issues bonding.

Considering its winter i would leave it out, but as RUss says polish it well and you wont need a glaze

You could use Chemical Guys E-Z Creme Glaze, that leaves behind an acrylic layer which is ideal for topping with a sealant.

Oh and Jamie is in America I think so won't be texting u back for a week or so

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm quite sure he's in the States at the moment Mikey.
Ooops. ;)

Oh and EX-P is my sealant of choice and I use it over a PB White Diamond glaze...because I'm cool. Although I do need to order some Blitz to give it a whirl, when someone actuallu has some in stock when I'm putting in an order.
