Turtle Wax's WAX IT WET! Great invention. I used to use it because it's a great time saver and with regular use builds up a great wax barrier.
Anyone else use it?
Id wash the car with a car shampoo, rinse it with water then spray Wax IT Wet and chamois.......great job!!!
If I do use it...
Have just recently bought a cup and have found it great - handling is fantastic and feels more responsive than my 172ff.

Following a mishap with a slightly open window and heavy rain at some point overnight I have a wet drivers seat (172FF). How easy is it to remove the lower cover and foam? Self explanatory once I go out to have a look once said rain has stopped? Anything I need to be aware of in case I get a...

Just finished playing football and bottom of the direvway up to the 5-a-side was flooded. Anyway gone through slowly in second and tried pulling out still in second and then put foot down, it started picking up and then starts "chugging" and looses power. I put it up into third and it carried on...
A mate of mine once told me that putting a car in the garage when its wet can do more harm than good. I guess its because the amibient air wont dry the car as effectively in the garage when it stops raining??
I cant see the problem if its wet as its raining, you then put it in the garage and...
Hello there peeps my car was getting a bit dirty, so i got bored and washed it but i forgot my shammy leather so its still wet, went to my local industrial site to get some good contrast in the background.
Well i lifted off and naturally the back went light.lol. not very fast either around the island.
What is the correct thing to do? I believe this would be a common problem in wet weather.
I went to a car park to practice as I dont want to be caught out by silly mistakes.
But makes for some good piccys!
Apart from Si, I missed all the CS lot, and got drenched taking some pics, worth it though. Did seem to lack something from years past.

I was driving round yesterday and we had real heavy rain.
Anyway this morning i have hoovered my car and found the footwell of the driver is absolutely soaking wet, well really, really damp. WTF! Anyone else had this?
was driving my 172 in the wet for the first time today and found it was understeering quite a bit, don't know whether it's the tyres (avon z 3's front and exalto's on the back) or just normal for the car? My old vts was a bit twitchy, but not as bad as the 172
Roads are pretty much flooding here so I'm bored as hell stuck indoors, thought I'd pop out and get a few shots during a short break in the rain...
Mondial shows up nice...
and some overexposed B&W shots...
Someone posted a wet and dry guide in the past, but it was a bit long winded.
Can someone give me a few basic steps on how to do it and what to use, please? Pics would be cool also.
Purchased some 1500 grit from halfords today.
Thanks
That is the question!
I have basecoat on. Now to my previous knowledge I should not be wet sanding until clear coat is on? I have read conflicting views on here. Some people say wet sand after bascoat then laquer, some say dont even think about wet sanding basecoat, get the laquer on and then...
