What's the difference between the 0-40 and 5-40 ?

0-40 is generally more expensive!

0 can goes down to a colder temp (-25degC from memory) whereas 5 only goes down to -15degC i think

Lower the first number the more vischious it is at low temps 10 weight is suitable for the pumps etc on the RS etc engines down to -20 degrees the standard requied minimum

5 protects down to -25 degrees
