Well 3rd time I've returned to a Renault This time another Renault Sport variant... 182 !
After a two let downs I managed to look into this one. Here's the advert pictures:
Quite a bit of bartering day by day and I managed to knock the sellers down by £1,100 and it came to light they would be coming 2 hours our direction to save us the big commute which was a nice bonus!
The Car:
2005 Clio 182 in Liquid Yellow
They bought the car from new and included the original invoice for 16k or so
All original books, documents, keys, certificate and booklet for the Renault alarm
Full service history
Cruise Control, speed limiter
Digital Climate Control
Xenons with working washers
Auto lights, wipers, door locking
Cabasse Stereo and steering wheel controls
And all the normal goodies - Half leather etc
We arrived.... Note the car they also travelled down in.... He also willingly arranged the viewing on his partners birthday which is dedication tbh
Bought it and off to fill up the tank for the journey home
Home
10/10/10 - Gave it it's first sunday cleaning session Few before pictures attempting to show the filth
More than overdue a good wash. Used Meguiars Gold Class and Lambs Wool Mitt....
Next job to tackle... TAR, as some might know yellow isn't a good colour for hiding the black bits.
Before:
Exhausts Meguiars Metal Polished and Front and Rear Lights Clay Bar'd
Sidelights Removed
After - Autoglym Tar remover
Few more clean and polished shots and of the spotless interior! Literally is unmarked throughout
Took it for a little drive and into the sunset
Extremely happy with it now its all polished up, really doesn't need a lot doing.
Plans:
Refurbish Wheels in Anthracite - As two are slightly marked (Unless cheap Turini's appear)
Skoda Splitter - Ordered today
Silvertec bulbs
6000k Xenon Bulbs
Bosch Aero Blades
197 Boot Badge - Eventually
Suspension Change
BMC CDA
Cup Spoiler - If one comes up at a reasonable price
My Private Plate - Maybe
Tempted with Carbon Interior bits again
:star:
