1.2 16 valve oil change

heya guys

im going to change the oil in my 1.2 2morrow but im abit confused as to :

how much oil my car takes

wats the best (resonably priced) oil to use

and where is the sump nut?

pics if possible

sump nut in on the sump plug.

best oil depends althoug any fully syntheic 5-40 or 10-40 is fine.

Make sure you get a good fitting sump key, rounding it off is an expensive lesson... think its 8mm off the top of my head but its worth double checking, sump keys can be bought in halfords for under £10 & that gives you a set that will cover most cars

8mm square sump plug, the oil filter is above the drivers side drive shaft (either a black plastic one or a small metal blue one), there messy! It take's 3.75 litres of 10w40 semi synthetic oil.

id use fully synthetic in it if it was mine, although semi will be fine

4.0litres is bang on the max mark on the dipstick, although dialogis says sumin like 3.75

get a semi synthetic oil i put in 3.5 litres run it up and then check the dip stick and top up the amount needed if needed

Iv always ever put 3.75, but so what christian said and you cant go wrong.
