1.2 16v Belt Changes ( almost 5 years, 40k ish )

My Clio is around 5 years old now and roughly 40k miles, There wasn't a huge amount of history with it so am unsure of when or whether the belts have been changed.

Am I right in thinking it's 5years/70k miles for the aux/cambelt changes?

How much should I be looking at paying to change the belts from a local garage? And would it be cheaper if I supplied the belts ( I remember someone linking to a belt set before, a while ago though! )

Yes get it done if you have any doubt. 1.2s are very neglected with things like this. I do every belt on every car that sold by Ashby clio, regardless of history. Mostly if it's been done, it's a hack job.

doubt you'll save anything by supplying, let the garage make their cut, it's how they survive. not expensive parts anyway.
