right guys got a couple of questions about my engine.
about 4-5 months ago i had a coolant leak that i kept topping up with water, then one day it just stopped but my coolant was mostly water, so i need to do a coolant change because thismorning i had some slush in my expansion tank!! now my mate is doing the coolant change for me but i just need to know what anti freeze etc to buy because i dont have a clue, going in to get it today. and how much of it to buy.
another thing is my expansion tank seems to have little white "bits" floating on top of the coolant, anyone know what this could be??
and also i started the car up and let it idle for 10 mins giving it a couple of revs because it was cold and not had a run all week and i noticed this bellow my exhaust...
any idea why its doing this?
as you can tell im not very mechanicaly minded so sorry if some of these are stupid questions
