1.2 16v has developed a misfire

Dip

  04 Clio 16V Dynamique
Hi all,

Just been down to the garage to get the car on diagnostics as the emissions light had come on. They've said its a misfire. They've reset the fault and the light's not come back on, but still feels weird. Down on power and occasionally unresponsive.

What could be causing it is unknown. The lambda sensor was replaced by Rentech in August along with a service. I'm aware that it could be the Coils, lambda, air flow meter or even the fuel.

It's on 66k at the moment, with about 3/4 of tank of Tesco's super unleaded in it (put in on 23/24 Dec). I thought this could be the problem but would it cause the misfire immediately/intermittently?

Any advice is appreciated.

im on the same problem as you mate.
Been advised to go take each lead off the plug with the engine running to confirm if its the plug, or coil pack.
