1.2 16V Induction Kit

I bought a Pipercross Induction Kit for my 1.2 16v the other week, makes a lovely noise and i have noticed a difference in throttle response so its great, One problem though, the fitting is terrible, does anyone know how to get it to fit perfect with no gaps or can recommend a different induction kit that fits as perfect as the standard air box????

which bit doesnt fit as nice?

the adapter plate that bolts onto the renault induction, or the pipercross filter that bolts to the adaptor plate?

this never fits properly anyways, ended up getting some nice sticky sided foam and cutting it to shape to make as good an air tight seal as poss.

^ spot on, my mk2 1.2 had same prob with a powertec filter, ended up taking it off and getting the standard box drilled and replacing the panel filter with a dnx one. much better :)

its the adaptor plate that fits onto the renault induction kit thats crap, the fitting for the filter to the adaptor isnt too great either but i can fix that with a nice tight jubilee clip. just bought it so i dont wana get rid of it so tryin my best to fix it.
