1.2 16v n/a power figures

hey guy's

i have a 1.2 16v clio 2 phase 2 it has a proven 76 bhp

i have the following mods planned for her just to make her drive a bit better what kind of figure's can i expect??


1. pro-speed custom s/s cat back exhaust system
2. k-tec induction kit relocation pipe
3. pipercross viper indution kit
4. CAF routed behind lower grill
4. custom pro-speed modified 4-2-1 s/s manifold
5. k-tec 200cell sports cat
6. ecu remap to suit engine upgrades

i no alot of u will say dont bother but im not askin ur opinion lol im just askin whaty kind of power i could be lookin at if my car is 76bhp now

IMHFO you should go for a pannel filter, a k&n.
Sports cat....Erm.....lot of money for the gains, ie youll get f**k all. Get a decat if you get anything.

Ecu remaps for a 1.2 lol ?

how does it have a PROVEN 76bhp?

the most ive heard of out of a 1.2 is about 85-90bhp.

when we had an rr day anothe rboy stuck his mk2 ph2 1.2 16v on and he for 76 at the fly so about 30 at the wheel lol.

if your spending all that you might as well try knicking a 1.2 turbo out a twingo or just dropping in a 1.4/6 woul dbe cheaper.

This will loose you power and torque, go for a pannel filter and modify the airbox to flow more air.
3. pipercross viper indution kit
go with my above suggestion
4. CAF routed behind lower grill
4. custom pro-speed modified 4-2-1 s/s manifold
5. k-tec 200cell sports cat
Just buy a spare cat and gut it to made a decat or have prospeed make you one up when you get the manifold and catback done, sports cat wont make any difference as the standard cat doesnt really restrict it too much due to it being a smaller engine

unless its been on an engine dyno then its not a proven 76bhp but assuming the same RR, same conditions etc then id say you;ll gain 5-7bhp if that.

mine was RR'd at 82bhp but it was never RR'd before mods so theres no way to tell if i got a genuine 7bhp or not!

i had mine rr ages ago like and it came in at 76bhp it only has 16000 miles like so its plenty of life in it

i have to keep the car for a long while yet c lol so i wanna keep ir a 1.2 but make it a bit faster and make it handle like a race car lol money isnt a problem as u might have guessed lol i just want to be different
