1.2 16v spark plug wrench URGENT

looked at every possible wrench and none fit down the tube. any one any ideas? seen one on google but it was about 20 quid... no thank you

14mm deep socket on an extension bar

half way down the tube it got wedged lol.

Eh? Not just stuck ontop of the plug? lol

no mate half way down the tube it got stuck had to use a long flat head to go through the drive hole and try and release it in the middle of halfords car park aha

WTF? I've always assumed the access holes were the same diameter all the way down.

could be because the engine was hot but dont really fancy doing it mate affraid itl get lodged and im left fucked til i can get it in college

Could be because your socket was slightly too big,

My 14mm deep socket on an extension was a snug fit but went in and out fine..

might give it a go again tomorrow has a fooking huge misfire and fear the damage its doing tbh

Just changed the coil pack and plugs on my grandads clio 1.2, He insisted it was the plugs but we can do the coil pack anyway he said... I said it was most probs the pack..

Changed plugs, Better still misfiring, Changed coil pack.. Problem solved.

I had the same miss firing problem, Coilpack solved it as well.

Oh right, Fair play then, Try your socket on a cold engine, If not trip to halfords for a different 14mm.

Don't bother lubing it up lol, correct size plug socket on an extension bar should fit.
