1.2 16v Suspension/172 Cup upgrade

  Full Fat 182
I have a 2003 1.2 Clio. It is a dynamique and I think that it came with sport suspension. I would like to improve the handling and am considering an upgrade to 172 cup setup.
Can anyone tell me whether this is a straightforward job please.
There is a set of 172 springs/dampers on ebay that I am interested in.
many thanks.

No Clio realy has sports suspension its just a bir firmer.

Rear shocks and springs straight fit doen't take long.

Front well there a problem with the hubs either
1) Change the hubs and brakes for 172 ones
2) Drill out/use camber bolts to make the hub spacing work.

There no point the suspension ot desinged for a 1.2 engine werghts suspension width etc are different. There much better stuff out there on the normal market Fk coilovers would be much better.

Thanks I take your point about the differences in the actual cars 1.2 vs 2.0.
I will look into an aftermarket setup. Anyone else done this?
Without spending too much...
