What do I need chaps???

Phoned up motorfactors earlier, was asked if they are vented or unvented? And after that, there are two options in each aparently. Any ideas?

A euro? I rang SC motor factors, asked for brake pads for a 1.2 8v 1998, he said "vented or solid" I said I wasnt sure, then he said there was 2 options after that.

He is talking about Euro Car Parts. When I was asked what type I wanted, I just said solid.

Are you looking to use upgraded pads? A 1.2i isn't going to be that hard on pads so standard ones are probably adequate. Depends what you are using the car for.

Its not necessarly the car that determines how hard the brakes are riden as much as it is the driver and his/her style of driving. For example i also have a 1.2 8v and am in the market for new discs and pads, vented this time as i ride my brakes hard ...... now i have resorted to engine braking mostly as my brakes arent as responsive anymore.

Found what I wanted in the end, fitted them yesterday, £18.00 well spent if you ask me, although the guy at sc gave me the wrong ones the first time. Fun times.
