1.2 Clio acceleration problem

Hi hope someone can help

I have just bought a 56 play 1.2 Clio campus and have this problem when I accelerate the revs go up very fast but there is no power. This only happens when I apply more than about 30% acceleration and I have noticed that the problem doesn't occur on cold mornings until the engine has heated up.

Someone has said it could be the clutch another person has said maybe lambda sensor.

Anyone got any ideas?

When you accelerate, do the revs go up but you go no faster...

...then the revs stay the same and the speed increases?

That'll be a clutch
