1.2 Coil pack change.

Mine went ages ago and was changed by a garage, However my grandad has had the same symptoms and we decided to change the coil pack and spark plugs.

Done the plugs today, NGK, Better already, Not misfiring as much...

However coil pack will arrive tues... Does the pack just lift off? then the coils out obviously.

Pull all the coils out, undo 3 bolts on the pack and it just lifts off, the pack itself isn't connected to anything.

3 small bolts from memory. Takes under 5 minutes to swap.

Cheers fellas, Just needed confirmation,

Grandad started waffling about "theres probably a rotating part to create the current, High or low"

I can see what hes trying to say, Hes an old school engineer.. Hobby mechanic.

But i sort of got across to him that it just plugs in.
