1.2 dynamique mpg

im getting around 39.7mpg ive seen 42mpg on one ocassion from my 1.2 clio i thought id be getting 45+ i dont speed much an i drive carefuly is this figure about right im running on sainsburys super i drive 14miles a day sometimes though a bit of town traffic useing a roads :S

thats quite good returns tbh , i've heard some 1.2 owners doing alot less even similar to 172/182 owners .

though my mate can get around 35mpg out of his cup ......:S

:rasp: my aircon doesnt seem to effect that i fill up 35quids worth every 4-5weeks

:S reversing up my drive does though

it should tbh , but though your journeys aren't long tbh , you'll get a better return i suppose for continual driving rather than stop/starts with no aircon usage .

i get about 40-45mpg on average, dont hammer it but i dont think about getting economy i just drive how i want.

best ive done is 64mpg on a long 150ish miles run at 50mph.

it depends really, since puttin de-cat it drinks fuel, tank was empty last night put £5 did stupid speed on the dual carriagway (20 miles) red light came on.. so i have to drive more steadily now b4 de-cat about 38mpg as i work in the town so alot ov stoping

37 mpg from me. I live quite close to work so its not much of a drive and it involves alot of stopping. Never seen much more than that.

lots of short trips when i was at college i used to get around the 40 mark maybes lower.

do longer journeys now though to work etc and get 45mpg plus

My old 1.2 I got ~46mpg average on mways

Not getting much less than that in my 172.. I drive smooothly

i dont really tend to believe my dash comp,but i can happily do nearly 90 miles to a tenner in the 172 if driven sensibly,and im showing 36.7mpg on the dash so that seems about right
