i have a 98 mk1 clio 1.2 and need to know... how many valves it has and hp etc. any help would be great.

my 1.8rt does 0.6 in just over nine - crude stop watch timing, but averaged over a few runs!

and ive had it at 120 with some give in it still.... so not sure how accurate those figures are

but then mines apparently RSi spec, which means i could have the RSi 'box...

It should be the 1.2 D7F engine it has max 60hp at 5250rpm and a max 93NM of torque at 2500rpm.

Yeh 60bhp. They're slow as f**k, but my mums is a right laugh to drive. Me and my mate used to race my 1.2 clio against his 1.3 mk2 golf. We were ragging it, but from the outside nobody knew we were racing.

6250 before the redline I believe,

I've had more than 96mph from a 1.2 (Speedo read 110), and more than 104mph from a 1.4RT (speedo read ~120)
