1.2 engines

i noticed there 2 types of 1.2 engine

you got the early one with the grey engine cover and the later engine with the big black cover,

whats the difference between the 2? is one more powerfull than the other?

I maybe wrong but they also come in two different versions the 16v and 8v

theres the late (2005) 1.2 engine which is just looks like a black box.. i think this is the same engine used in the MK4s..

There was an engine revision on the 53 plate cars.

It's mainly to do with the mositure that was getting into the earlier engines.
