1.2 high clutch fix?

The clutch on my 1.2 campus sport seems pretty high so started looking to have a new one fitted but found that it's just how the clutch is on them. Not sure if it's the same on all clios. With no way of adjusting it I came up with this little idea.

Pop the rubber grommet off behind the pedal and raise it. I bough a pack of 3/4 tap washers and screwed them onto the grommet...

Feels loads better. Not perfect but a lot better than it was, I tried with 2 but found 3 better

Have you created extra clutch drag however?

No, none what so ever. With 4 on there was slight drag, with 3 there's about 3-5mm of free travel before the bite starts. Tested the car from cold and warm, all working fine
