1.2 K-Tec induction kit + Relocation Pipe - Installed!!

I have installed the induction kit with relocation pipe... but there isnt much difference in the sound to the standard one... is there something i should be doing to make it 'roar'?

As it is installed with the relocation pipe, does this mean the roar is dissapearing as the air travels down the pipe? would it be better/louder without the relocation pipe?

Does it not make any sound on full throttle? with my old 1.2 16v it would only make sound on full throttle.

Try it with the pipe and without.

Looks good but I'd be a bit concerned about the filter gettign covered in road debris and damp in the winter.

looks like you're missing a jubilee clip

it won't be loud, its due to the engine

you've increased your induction length by about 1m there too!

I am getting another jublilee clip tommorow, as it didnt come with anymore...

imo induction kits are better left in the original position in the 1.2, but wont really get a roar off a 1.2 anyway as it hasnt got the power.

just seen my mate with a 1.1 kia picanto... he has an air filter on his... and it is soooo loud.. i dnt get it why his makes such a loud noise, and mine doesnt!

ye lol... not a bad little car... ( a cousie coopay compared to the clio ) but his parents bought it for him... but it bloody roars like crazzy with a filter on!!

hmmm the engines a lot quieter though, that might be an issue? try putting it in the original position, i get a small noise from mine, but mines closed so dont get as much as with an open

Have tried it today without the relocation pipe.. and it makes no difference... i put the standard one back on... and it sounds the same... if not better... o well... you live and you learn!

its due to the design of the plenham, the intake in standard form is SO long which mutes the sound
