1.2 TCE lowering? pics wanted and advice..? please.

Hi alll I'm new to this, i have my 12 tce clio on a 08 plate. wanting to lower it as it looks like its toooooo high, I've looked at 30mm doesn't seem enough. wanting lower without damaging anything. and i can't afford coil overs £600 :dapprove: !!
ill try post some pics of my car. and also would like some pics of other mk 3's that have been lowered.

Btw that's not mine it's some1 else's of the forum.

Spacer wise u want 20mm or 25mm (above) hub centric ones. Some good quality ones like H&R or FK's.

Springs wise, I'm not sure.. Don't think you can go much lower than 40mm unless u get custom ones made. Coilovers like above drop it to around 70/80mm. The 30mm Eibechs springs are probably the best ride quality springs mind.

yeah i will get some spacers, i have the same wheels as the pic u posted. so if i get 25mm it will sit niceR? yeah max I've seen on springs is 35mm :( I've looked on ebay and that were can i find some seconds hand coiles? ty

In the 'for sale section' on here will prob be the best bet (put a wanted thread up), that or keep an eye out on ebay. There was a recent set just sold for under £300 couple weeks ago (had only done 300miles from new). Don't come up often unfortunately.

25mm spacers like above is what you want but u might get rubbing on the arches, I'm not sure. But yes You have exact same wheels above too. The spacers widen the track off the wheels (make them stick out further) so they sit nicely in the arches.
