1.2 to 2.0

hello everyone,

got a 1.2 2002 clio, looking to do an engine conversion as have now finished what i wanted to make the car look like, now i want it to be backed up by some more power

ive got the engine and gearbox, what else will i need?

and will renault be able to reprogram my key to the new ecu?

You need pretty much everything from the 2.0! All the loom etc, use the same ECU/immobiliser/key etc.

only the engine loom though?
and waht about the rear breaks being drum and abs?

I took mine to Ktec. Drive in, drive out ftw.

Dont do it mate imo, im in the middle of doing a conversion outside my house and its turned into a nightmare, i put hours and hours every night trying to fix it and get it all running but ive been left without a care for nearly 2 month now and still no closer to having it running.

Dont get me wrong it might just be my luck that i just havent found the last bit thats stopping it from running but it will require a hell of a lot of time, effort and money !
