You can turbo it but is it worth it?

3k I recon for a rebuilt engine with new pistons and turbo which should get you about 110hp but you might as well get an older GTT dropped in there for £1.5k sure its an older engine but has stood the time of being turboed plus the engine was designed from the outset to be turboed. Also there are more tunning bits for the engine out there

The gearbox isnt strong in the 1.2 IMO to take the power.

Best ring Andy at GDI on 07010 716440 for a GTT to be dropped in before shelling out for a 1.2 turbo kit. You can sell the 1.2 on to keep the cost a down and with GTT going for very little now you could buy a whole new car and engine for less than the cost of a few 1.2 parts.
