  None
Theres probably a few things such as exhuast, de-cat, re-map etc but ppl on here will just say your wasting your time.

the breaks are reet for a 1.2, its not that a cant afford the 172 i can i just refuse to spend that much on the insurance

its not cheap, i've spent best part of 700 quid of rrps on performance mods, and only got about 10bhp to show for it. i've got a sports cat, full stealth system and a viper with a custom feed. Is much more fun to drive however. As you say no point in uprating the brakes as the 1.2 ones are more than adequate, and if possible remove the rear bench like i've done, makes a substantial difference, and sounds more sporty due to tehe enhanced exhaust noise

I'd spend your money on a set of coilovers, and have people in the twisties lol. Would def consider a viper as well, despite what most people say, its made a substantial difference on mine, just make sure its rooted properly.

Yep. He speaketh the truth, i had plenty of grip on track in my 1.2

Brakes were fine too actually.

Strip it.

  Turbos.
Took my 1.2 on track and was lapping at the same time as a guy in a Focus RS and my dad in his 3.0 Alfa GTV. That was with coilovers and 4 pots.

If you coilovers were the only modification you'd still be dead happy with it.

yep, coilovers are a lot better than kits, although my kit was only lowered 40mm which may be the reason.

brakes are ok at stopping but i find mine fade or even totaly dissapear sometimes so id go for uprated pads and better fluid.

coilovers is on the list for mine even though i already have the apex -60mm kit.

get yourself a full catback exhaust (im going for a stealth one, up to you what you prefer) with a sports cat THIS is the sports cat im going for.

ill have a guide up soon on how we modded my airbox and custom made an HKS filter, cost £21 in total and made a noticeable difference

and lastly strip it, the best way to make a 1.2 faster is less weight, better handling and better brakes, then engine mods to help the engine response and make it sound a bit more "fun"

cheaper if you go powerflow and buy one of their 200cpsi sports cats. mine was 150 fully fitted when i had my cat back at the same time.

got a price for 'has' as well, and he only wantedd 180 to do it as a standalone install.

only downside is that you cant remove it, but a second hand sports cat is near worthless anyway lol
