1.4 energy build

hi guys do you no what problems could happen with putting an 1.4 energy engine from a r19 f reg into a Clio I.E ECU etc.i am rebuilding the engine changing all parts.

part one the guys at college were scraping a r19 car and i asked if i could take the engine out they said yes so that's what i did.

this is when i got the engine out this took me a hour and a bit on my own not tooo bad

lol i wont would you say its worth cleaning head up and re cutting vales etc ?

Don't know if you can do something like acid dip them to clean them?

Best to ring a company that does head work and see what they charge / what the improvements might be. Then you can get an idea if you want to have a go yourself or just leave be! lol

lol i dont no what to do just saw a 1997 clio for £495 tax mot till December.how much is it going to cost to do the engine i could by a hole car lol

If I were you, I'd buy a 1.2 as a first car.. bit cheaper on insurance than the 1.4
