But travelling down in a Clio...and coming home on back of AA trailer isnt fun. Now my 182 is second car...I may well give her a couple of blats!!!

Exactly, spinning off at high speed into a barrier on track is far more likely than something breaking on a 1/4 mile.
Well I might be finding out if I can get £250 quid together for Llandow,
i'll know by the end of the week if I can afford it.
Pretty confident I can make it, just don't want to commit before I have the money.
Although I don't class drag days as a track day,
just a cheap day out with the lads having a laugh seeing who you can beat.

I've had the Juke into single figures in terms of mpg for a short while...but I prefer the Eco mode 99% of the time and Sport mode on occasions. The Juke is a Clio in all but badge and a few bits really. Is the Renault Captur essentially the same car?

I beat Stokie in a straight up race that day, but my best time was 15.00,
his was something impossible like 14.4, I reckon he had a tail wind that run. lol

i think the CL04 was me! tempted to go again but not sure i want to put the car through the punishment!
I'll be lucky to do a 15.00 again, car's not been the same since the belts were changed,
I think the timing was out by an amount that made it quicker,
now it's timed properly it just doesn't feel as quick.
