1.4 S - Strut Brace and Induction Kit

Hiya!



I own a Clio 1.4 S (X reg) and Im wanting to (or at least thinking about) getting a strut brace and induction kit for it....but Im unsure as to what the exact good/bad points, and if theyre worth the money...

...also if anyone could point me in the direction of a member who owns a 1.4 S (I cant find anyone )

What engine mods have u found?

I run a PiperCross induction kit, but wanna change this-dunno if K&N do a kit??

Let me know what you have found out.

Whats the difference between the Mk2, RT and Sport, cos the sports slower to 60! Find out and make the changes for more power, might just be the ECU etc.. that or parkers have fuked up there times cos it doesnt seem to make sense!

The Mk1 S is slightly quicker due to it having an RSi Gear box..

I dont think thats right

I had four people in the car and it did 0-60 in about that time or lower

How would I get a power gain without being stung by insurance etc?

well, a Hillpower Chip or well any other chip, basically an insurance company wont rip apart the car to check the ECU

Depending on who your with and your age you might not get charged for say 1 item like a back box or induction kit..

Im 18 (19 in a couple of days), and been driving for 2 years on new years eve (but only one year no claims because of being in my dads name for the first year)
