1.6 engine

At the minute I have. 1.6 8v engine in the Clio and I was wondering if I change the engine to a 1.6 16v will it just w plug and play?

If theres nothing wrong with your current engine then i wouldnt bother IMHO, i was under the impression that the 8v engines were stronger anyway?

I was just thinking it was abit more power and just thought it would of been a straight swap with them both been a 1.6

8v engines are for heros.

the difference you would feel wouldn't be worth the effort mate, especially as you can buy a 172 for peanuts these days it would make more sense just to buy a 172

I would love a 172 but I can't afford the insurance due to saving up for a wedding
