1.8 16v, willams conversion

IVE been ofered a 1.8 16v mk 2 clio with a williams engine in it, problem is it wont start. the fella says theres a problem in the wireing loom.. has any1 elseheard of this while doing the conversion?

You could probably sell the parts apart from the engine for a few hundred.

For £400 you would either have an absolute bargain (if the engine wasn't fooked) or a useless lump of metal that you might lose a small bit of cash on if you didn't make your money back on the rest of the parts (if the engine was dead.)

yea even if the engine is fucked, for £400 you could make that back easily

does it have a williams ECU in it ?
