1.8 laguna throttle body?

I've heard that putting a laguna throttle body can make a small improvment? does anyone know. im looking at putting a 1.8 16v 2002 onto my 1.4 16v 2001 clio. Also is the 1.8 actully bigger i know for certain the 2.0 one is.

PS when changing is there anything i need to know or is it a simple bolt off bolt on job?

doubt it plus they tend to go a bit mad when you start swapping throttle bodys about as each one is programmed i think, also something diffent about them possibly as one could be plastic and one could be metal so to speak you need a cd to reprogram these

chances are it wont fit, the only one ive heard of fitting is the 1.8 spi fitting to the mk1 energy engines. If it did fit then you would have to bore your inlet out and then get it mapped in but to be honest as fred said its really not going to make much of a difference.

you are indeed thinking of the 1.4RT SPi to 1.8 laguna SPi TB swap.

There is no such thing for you 1.4 16v.
