100w bulbs

  Clio
Hey guys,
just wondering if anyone could tell me whether its safe and ok to stick 100w headlight bulbs into my projector angel eye headlamps.
Ive got these angel eyes that some seem to project very far and seem to be a bit weak with the standard bulbs
cheers

I believe they are illegal. I though 55 Watts was maximum. I may be corrected though. And dare i say hmmm... the smell of melting plastic. But IDK...

They uxxualy will "stress" the plastic and create marks on it. It has also been known to melt through the electrical wires not that I have seen this myself but I have seen it mark the clusters.

had them in my furby vrs only on high beam they were FANTASTIC !!! but illegal really but since i wasnt driving around with them on it wasnt sooooo bad but still not right im bad mmm kay

They are not legal,55max for road use,if you do use them you would need a relay wired in I think.
Get your dip beam wired to the main beam, that gives a good light, try it at night when on dip go to put main beam on but dont pull the stalk all the way and you get both on at the same time

So in theory i should sell them on cos i dont realy want the hasle of anything melting or rewiring any wires cos tbh i simply cba. Just my 55watt bulbs with the headlights i have dont seem very bright, doesnt really seem to make a difference whether i have my headlights on or off, mite just go to mot station and get them checked out.

im with craig....i spent more than the cost of my HIDs on replacing those blue 100w bulbs cos they just blew all the time. hids ftw!
