Lee post come pictures of the bad boy!

I'm moving house at the moment so it's still boxed up at my parents. I'm going to take it down to mine on Friday hopefully. The HD box is ready to go, so I just need to take the screen, PS3, XBox 360, Wii and DVD player down and I'm sorted.

I don't think I'll get much done on the house this weekend. Although I won't be online as I've not got broadband yet. :(

Ready to receive:

That panasonic only has:

Number of Pixels
786,432 (1,024 x 768) pixels

That's what everyone who doesn't understand how a Plasma screen works says.

It's the best Plasma you can buy in that price range at the moment.

I'm sure it is - but your right I dont understand how it can display true 1080p when there isn't enough pixels to show it? forgive my ignorance.

Its physically impossible to display 1080P unless you have the right amount of pixels (minimum of 1920 × 1080) so your TV cannot display true 1080P. It will receive the signal and downscale it. Its the same for plasma as LCD.

However, the Samsung you almost bought is full on proper 1080P with a 1920 x 1080 panel and is arguably the better set!!
