10k for my 182

Went to "The car people" in Wakefield today for a look round and asked what they would give me for my black uk car 182 with both cup backs and 6k on the clock against a new megane 225.

They said 10 grand, I fought back the tears and walked away..................

sounds bout right, remember VAT is not paid on secondhand cars so 13k-17.5% is about £10700, the dealer is not going to make much money on it with imports selling for around £12.5k

10k sounds a fair price.

I only paid 12400 for mine from a dealer, black both cup packs delivered back in June.

You always loose the most in the first 12 months

Id also say that sounds about right, gotta take into acount depreciation and the fact these guys are out to make a proffit.

you have to keep a car 3 years to get your moneys worth.

buying a brand new car and selling within 12 months is silly (unless you have money to burn!)

Well 2.5yrs is when you loose the least ammount of money.

£10k is very good for trade in tbh.

You have to consider the price some people can source new ones at and take that into account.

£10k is v good - I got offered less very recently by a couple of dealers - trade is £9.5k max for that spec at the mo!
