15''s on a mk1?

will a set of 15s with 195x55 tyres fit on a mk1 without rubbing?, didnt have enough time to try it today but it looked damn close just putting it next to the arch, wont be able to try it till monday and just want the mind at ease lol, cheers, jamie

Should do I've used 195/50 before now on a lowered Williams although it had no arch liners.

i doubt they will. my old 195/50 15's was very very close to the arches, it is lowered 80 mil/60 mil.
ide expect scrapage

Yeah it'll scrape with 195/55 guranteed, 50 profile it will a bit but nothing too bad and 45 it shouldnt!

Mines scrape and they are 50's. Just have to make sure the offset is right. I run 172 wheels and they are about a mile off the right offset
