16" or 17"

As a result of my last thread i'm looking into getting those Apex 40mm springs, now onto the alloys, what would you guys recommend, for handling purpose, and no scrubbing?

(as you can tell, i'm very new to modding cars, in ANY shape or form. but this forum is excellent! will be a paid up member as of payday tomorrow!)

16", shouldnt need new dampers unless you going lower than 60, standard are just about ok with a 60mm drop

i regret getting 17s so much now,
plus i have a 60mm drop on 17, shocks have been fine for the last year

I guess 17's are a pain then, I'll be looking at getting both springs and dampers but not sure if the kerbs around my area will allow a 60mm drop.

I have 17s - you'll probably need spacers so they don't rub on the struts.

Deffo 60mm drop!!! You will be dissapointed with 40mm.

15 FTW,

had 16's on my clio with standard suspension (4X4 clio to the max lol ) and rubbed like a biatch when full lock and over little humps in the black tar substance we drive our motor vehicles on. Then again it has been done umpteen times so perhaps i just bal*sed something up
