16v brakes on RT

Would 16v brakes fit a phase I RT? If so are they hard to fit?

Thanks :)

Also, would it be ok to just upgrade the front brakes to 16v and leave the backs as they are or should the whole lot be done?

Thanks

Dazz

be fine to put front 16v brakes on an rt, need discs and calipers (with 2 bolts as diff length to original ones!) . Is a very easy job indeed. Just look at the haynes manual and ull have no problems.

valvers have rear discs so fitting 16v rear brakes would be much more difficult.

no problem at all..... its so simple (WTF?? I seem BenR on this one LOLLL dead easy :p)

Just get calipers and bolts from the valver! buy good discs (valver/willy are the same 259x20.5mm) and good pads. Give it a good bleed, and ready to smoke.

Valver brakes under 14"alloys on a RT

for the back... get the rear valver/willy axle. Not for the brakes but because it comes with 4 torsion bars, for better ass handling.

where from? i had a look at k-tec but theyre looking for around £100 for just pads, and another £100 for discs?
