16v decat on RT





dont see why not unless the cat is slightly larger on the valver to accomodate the larger volume of exhaust fumes due to bigger engine?

the mongoose full system currently on my valver/williams is off my old RT, the whole exhust is identical although when i had my williams engine put in they had to mess with my de-cat. the 16v de-cat will fit the RT
 


have a look at the what price for my scorpion de-cat blah blah post mate cos ive got a K-tec de-cat pipe, brand spanking at home.
 


makes a whole load of noise on an RT, wathc out for flames as well! it will feel like it has made a big difference to performance also. i loved my RT because of it breathing mods, it sounded mental! cane 2nd gear and when the revs are high come off throttle then gently tap it and listen to the loud bangs the exhaust makes and the flames! bnest dont when zorst is hot though
 


i heard some kick out flames, sweet! cant wait to get one!

jus a thought how does a car back fire (when the exhaust pops) wot causes it?
 


here we go.......there was a massive post about this not long ago, when you back off throttle at high revs the car still puts air and fuel throught the block but doesnt burn it and when it reaches the hot exhaust BANG! i think

afaik the 16v de-cat WONT fit the RT, but as ive never tried fitting one personally i cant comment from experience, however the 16v system is a larger bore than the RT system....
 


you shouldnt get in any trouble because it is very hard for them to do on the spot emmision tests(the only thing they can do you for).

BRUN, the williams de-cat is different, i had my 16v de-cat chopped up to accomodate williams manifold and down pipe
