It normally sits at about 110 / 120 when razzing it,but it was high on sunday ill have to keep an eye on it. it cools back down quick but i intended on a quick run on sunday being an early morning n all.
mine sits just under 100 normal driving, goes up to 120 at 100mph, i noticed the increase in temp when i started using mobil1, wouldnt worry about it too much just keep the oil level topped up!
mine stays about 80 most time, if i am nipping along a bit say 85-90 then it soon comes rises just over 100, but it also does this when sat in traffic jams which would make sense as there is no airflow into the engine bay
140 does sound a little high !! But it was hot on sunday !! Dont forget on hot days they do run hotter and due to u being used to the winter reading still, its always a bit scary when it gets hotter and you see the guages reading that bit hotter.
Mine usually settles at about 80 normal driving and about 100-110 on motorways and 120 if im really threshing it in the hot weather !!
shouldent think the hot weather would affect it much at all just that it would get up to temp quicker! mine shows the same as it did on the coldest days in winter
