16v Vs Standard Susspension

what is the differnece between the suspension on a 16v clio and the standard. i have the chance to have 16v coilovers fitted but cant becuase its a standard clio. what is the actual difference, i thought they were just stronger becuase of the weight of the eninge, so surely it wouldnt be bad fitting 16v coilovers onto a standard 1.2 clio?

not sure but maybe they fix differently? as the 16v is wider? someone should be able to answer but id have thought they should fit?

I went to buy new shocks recently for my old 1.4RT, and there was two different ones for the same year, one with 52mm and one with 54mm spacing between the two bolts at the bottom.

So maybe on the valver the spacing wont fit a standard clio, or maybe they are different sizes?

i think 16 v may be 58 mm
