16V / Williams Steering rack

The part number for the 16V steering rack is different to the part number for the Williams rack.... does anyone know why this is.

It cant just be beacause of the minimal extra track width can it?

Must be due to the wider track? Cant think of anything else?

Probably because its french and they just make them up as they go along...

I have first hand experience of this. Yes theyre a different part. Why, I do not know but they are. I also know a 16v one can be bought almost instantly, a WIlliams one not - I waited over a month for a Williams one, and then never got it.
